Upload Animated GIF and JPG images onto Orkut Album Using Your Picasa Account

Great News For Orkut users! Now you can upload and use animated GIF and JPG image in your scrapbook and community post pages. Wondering how? Well, now you can use your google picasa account for this feature. if you don't have a picasa account, get it here.

Now serach for the animated GIF or JPG image that you want to post. Try searching Google with keywords like Animated GIF or Animated images. You can find millions of GIF images there.

GIF images are like images, but have different layers. That means you can add several images and make that one GIF image. using some common sense and tricks, you can make great animated GIF images like below:


After you are done with your desired smiley or images, upload them onto your picasa album. But just remember to keep the folder public.



Now copy the image location of your image. If you don't know how to do that, follow below steps :

* Right Click on the image, then a prompt box will pop up. Select Image Location/Image Properties.

* That will show you a link. That's your image link. Select and copy that code.


Now you are done with your image link. Paste that code on your friends scrapbook and they will see the images you just posted.

N.B : You can also copy image properties from any site and post them. But as soon as they change their website directories/codes, your images might not work. So, it's better to use picasa and use them forever ;)
